Description André Fettouhi 2016-11-04 06:44:31 UTC
Last year I switched from KDE 4 to KDE 5 in that process I decided to upgrade as many of my qt apps to qt5. Among those apps was choqok, so I decided to the latest git version. A small bug that has been present since the switch is that choqok does not anymore remember its position on the desktop when launching it for the first time. It always starts up in the upper left corner if there are no other windows present on the desktop. One can then move around and place it somewhere else. But when you minimize to tray and then reopen it, then it has moved again. In my case it shifts down a few centimeter everytime from the original position I've set.

I have this problem now too.

After Update to Framework 5.29 and KDE 16.12 with Choqok 1.6 Choqok ignores special application/window settings.
My special application windows settings:
- Apply initially
- Position: 1250,70
- Size: 375,950

Monitor resolution: 1680x1050

It's only choqok, I tested also kcalc and okular, they have no problems to respect the special windows settings

I did not have this problem before the update

I can't confirm this.

I tested with a brand new user: Same issue

If you choose to enforce the window settings choqok respects the horizontal value, but not the vertical - weird

change of ~/.config/choqokrc did not help

I just updated today to 16.12 and the issue with choqok seems to be gone now. It respects the position now it seems.
