Created attachment 101942 [details] steps kate version: 3.3.4 kde version: 4.3.4 1.open 1st new file, and type asdffff 2.select ffff, but don't copy/cut/paste 3.open 2rd new file 4.return to 1st file 5.you should find only leaving "asd" in the content, and "ffff" disappearing.
