Hi there, if i understand correctly you were attempting to open a new window in Firefox by right clicking on it in the task bar and selecting "new window" Is that correct? Or do you mean you were attempting to select an already open window from a list of windows? When did this problem start and how reliably can you reproduce it? Hi Kitsuna, thanks for asking. It's more than one year since I reported this crash and I don't remember the details, but from what I wrote I'd say: I clicked on the Firefox "icon" at the bottom of the screen in Kubuntu, which lists all the existing Firefox windows (say 20), and when I clicked on one of those listed Firefox windows to open it, I had the crash. I don't believe this has happened again. Hi again, I just found some notes about this incident, saying: KDE crashed: I was trying to open Firefox when things (KDE) froze. After a few minutes things started working again and there was a KDE crash report window. I went along filing the crash report. Hello! This bug report was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this bug has already been resolved in Plasma 5. Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this bug report. If the issue described here is still present in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging Thanks for your understanding!
