Sorry there was something caught in my clipboard and I pasted the wrong information from the command line. I couldn't see it because the knotify dialog is very small. Here is the correct paste of what I get from the command line:
> amarok
KCrash: Application 'amarok' crashing...
KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/lib64/kde4/libexec/drkonqi from kdeinit
KCrash: Connect sock_file=/home/george/.kde4/socket-tribaltrekker/kdeinit4__0
unnamed app(8642): Communication problem with "amarok" , it probably crashed.
Error message was: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" : " "Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)" "
Sadly your backtrace does not contain debugging symbols, so your backtrace is not really useful. Please see https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports on how to produce a better backtrace. FWIW: please make sure you do not have a mix in your phonon packages, there have been reports about mixes with the Qt4 and Qt5 based versions before. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 347917 *** |
