Cannot confirm. I can edit text files over local sshd server connection just fine. Does the server has any specialities? I confirm this. Steps to reproduce: 1) Tools > New Network Connection (or Ctrl+N) 2) In new network connection window there is only "ftp://" protocol available from dropdown list. 3) As a resolution you need to install different supporting package than before: search your repo for: 'kio-extras' or something similar. 4) restart Krusader, and viola, sftp available ;) @Patryk: so, you actually say it is not a real bug(?) kio-extras is mentioned in the INSTALL file and distro packages should recommend it as optional dependency. No answer. But it was probably only caused by kio-extras not installed. |
