Description artkreata 2016-10-24 15:54:29 UTC
Hello my name is Evan,

I'm not sure if this is a tablet issue (I have an Intuos Pro) or a brush engine issue or just a lag issue, its present with my Macbook's mousepad but is most noticeable with my tablet. In the images I provided the first is when I draw a circle slowly with basic smoothing on, the second picture is literally the same, but done very fast. I suspected its a lag or performance issue however when I went into brush settings (picture 3) and used the little preview window at the same fast speeds, the brush strokes come out much much smoother.

Also It wasn't listed but I have OS Sierra, and Im using Krita 3.0.91.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select any brush
2. draw large circles very fast
3.

Actual Results:
The lines seem to jump and look very angular.

Expected Results:
The lines should have been as smooth as it does when in the brush settings

Update: Apparently this is definitely an Intuos problem or at least I have found a work around

If I flip my intuos pen, i.e. use the eraser side of my pen as the pen and the pen side as the eraser, the lines come out much less jagged

so this seems to be effecting the pen end specifically

Could you also check whether it makes a difference if you've got Instant Preview enabled?

Hey hey that did it, sort of, the issue was that I was in Nearest Neighbor mode rather than trilinear, dont know how that happened but it works fine now thanks a bunch!
