I use digikam with an internal mysql database. I tried to manually add a face tag in preview mode. I can select the add face tag button and draw a rectangle, but upon releasing the cursor digikam freezes but the process does not crash. I will attach the relevant output on the command line.

I can't reproduce this anymore with 5.4.0 prerelease.
