Actually it has more than one error.
1) .transcode folder was not created nor was the contents.
2) xvid4.cfg also not created (K3b could not find it.). This has been resolved with xvid4conf to get the configuration  right.
And finally :-
avi open error: avilib - Error opening AVI file
REASON: No such file or directory.

The avilib is not in the package list and ending with :-
[encoder.c] video export module error: open failed
[transcode] failed to open output

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Hunted down and fixed missing files.
2.No idea what the remaining missing files are there are no indications what or where they are thought to be.
3.I'm assuming the output file is where I said it should be.   

Actual Results:  
Non functional. 

Expected Results:  
It should have completed the rip
