Steps to reproduce:
1. Say a user tom has two files in his home folder - A.txt and B.txt
2. run in terminal: kdiff3 file:///home/tom/A.txt file:///home/tom/B.txt

Current result:
Shown an error saying opening failed.
Filled paths in selection dialog look like: /home/tom/file:/home/tom/A.txt

Expected result:
Both files should be compared as it does in KDiff3 version 0.9.98.

KDiff3 version:
- Installed from Archlinux package kdiff3-kf5-git, git commit 2b7e23a

Just took over an maintainer. I am unable to reproduce this on the current master git://anongit.kde.org/kdiff3. Please advise Archlinux to update their package. They are using an abandoned partial kf5 port as the bases of there package. The repo they are pulling from is not being updated and contains experimental possibly broken code.
