Description Joseph Anania 2016-10-13 11:15:21 UTC
High Fidelity mode halts and halts youtube video playback upon connection. I changed the Bluetooth headset profile to the High fidelity mode and it worked fine on the first connect. When I reconnected my bluetooth headset latter in the day all youtube videos in firefox would halt as soon as the headset is connected and in High Fidelity profile. The only way around it is to set the headset to low fidelity mode, turn off the headset turn it on again and go to phonon's configuration set it to high fidelity mode it then may go straight to off profile instead but it sometimes goes to high fidelity mode and it would work as expected for as long as it is connected.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.set High fidelity mode as the default
2. reconnect device while watching a youtube video in firefox
3. watch the video hault

Actual Results:
The video haults and the device profile may be set to off when checked in phonon

Expected Results:
It should connect regularly in high fidelity mode and youtube videos should not be effected by the headset

This was tested with Avantree Audition headsets

This has nothing to do with Bluedevil, but instead the issue might be either in BlueZ or Pulseaudio.
