The font list in the font manager is empty. It does not show the installed fonts. The message "Scanning font list..." never disappears.

Works for me.

Can you try with a new user account to see if it is related to a bad configuration?

I already did that and it did not resolve the problem. Furthermore, this problem exists since a few updates. I even tried to reinstall my openSUSE Tumbleweed because this bug annoyed me....no change.

It works now since the last update (5.8.2)

We did not change anything, so I assume it was a local or downstream issue. Closing.
