Given the comment that Amarok (Qt 4) still restores correctly, this seems to not be a problem with KWin. KWin after all seems to be able to restore the state of the Amarok window correctly. Both mentioned applications (konversation and virtualbox) are Qt 5 applications. Qt 5 didn't support session management at all for a long time and I don't know whether the version Debian ships already supports it. Due to the possible Qt 5 nature which is outside the control of KWin, I dare to mark as RESOLVED UPSTREAM. In case you also experience problems with non-Qt 5 applications which used to restore correctly, please reopen. |
