when I try to draw/colour the image lags and then freezes and then what I did only shows up 10-20 minutes later

Check if turning off view->instant preview helps. I suspect your computer is just not able to handle that.

Hi Sandra,

Please also check whether you have any other software running that can interfere with krita, like sandboxie. This experience is obviously not common, otherwise people wouldn't be able to use Krita at all, so it must be something specific to your system.

Hi Sandra,

This is unlikely to be a bug in Krita. Behaviour like you describe is most often the result of a system misconfiguration. I'm sorry, but we cannot do much with your bug report.
