Fcitx use "input-keyboard" icon in system tray. Breeze icons has a monochrome 22px icon and a 64px colored icon for "input-keyboard". But system tray use the 64px one while other apps use 22px. (22px is the actual size of system tray icons)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Fcitx.
2. Start Fcitx.
3. See the Fcitx icon in system tray.

Actual Results:  
System tray show 64px icon for Fcitx.

Expected Results:  
System tray should show 22px icon for Fcitx.

are those icons taken from the plasma theme or from the system desktop theme?

The input-keyboard icon is from breeze icons /usr/share/icons/breeze/ , not plasma desktop theme.

Guo, can you confirm that this is still an issue in Plasma 5.12.x (or even better, the 5.13 beta)?

This issue has been fixed a long time ago. I submitted a "input-keyboard" icons in Plasma desktop theme. Now plasma should always show monochrome keyboard icons, 22px or 32px.
