Under System Settings, Help / About - does not show the version number.
Fedora 24 current updates as of today (Sep 23, 2016).

Reproducible: Always

Do you mean systemsettings or khelpcenter?

The version (for all Frameworks applications) is in the second tab.

The bug, if it can be considered a bug is/was in SystemSettings, not KHelpCenter.
The version was available in the second tab (Version) until Frameworks 5.29 included. Starting from version 5.30 the version is visible in the main about box and the Version tab was, renamed as Libraries, contains only the information about the other libraries used.

Closing as duplicated of the wishlist (resolved) which requested better visibility of the version number (immediately shown in the about box).
