The Glide effect doesn't allow for the timing of the animation to be changed, and right now it feels really slow. In addition to gliding in and out and the angle of the glide, the speed should also be a variable.

The rewritten Glide effect allows to change animation duration (also, angle, distance, and rotation edge), so marking it as fixed.
