My default screen resolution is 1024x768 and I can't change it to 1280x960. Nothing happens when I apply the change.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open system settings, open kcm_kcreen, change your screen resolution and press "Apply" button

Actual Results:  
Nothing happens.

Expected Results:  
New screen resolution is applied.

I use radeon hd 4350 running with the open source driver.
Tested on plasma 5.8 beta installed from kde unstable Arch repository.

Thanks for the bug report!

This is a known problem, as we have not yet fully implemented these things for Kwin/Wayland. I'll leave this bug report open as a reference for others.
