I am using the newest kdenlive version 16.08.1 on Ubuntu 16.04.1.

The project profile is DV/DVD Widescreen PAL.
When I add a picture with the aspect ratio 4:3 to the time line it shows up fine in th eproject monitor. However, when I add the "Position and zoom" effect it changes the aspect ratio of the picture 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add picture with aspect ratio 4:3 to timeline
2. Add Position and Zoom effect to picture
3.

Actual Results:  
the aspect ratio of the picture is changed

Expected Results:  
the aspect ratio should stay unaltered

The problem seems to be fixed in Version 16.12.2
