Harald, did you use "add slideshow" or "add clip"? I used "add slideshow". Sorry. But after checking again I recognized that the reported problem was not a kdenlive bug. Simply the kipi-plugins were missing because the kubuntu software centre just installed kdenlive but not the required kipi-plugins. After manually installation by apt-get the "add slideshow" function works perfect. Maybe in future kdenlive could inform the user about missing packages if he executes a function that require additional, but not installed, components. As there are so many different distributions we have no way of knowing what mistakes distro packagers did. Please report to your distro packagers. Thank you very much for your cooperation. |
