Description Stefan 2016-08-23 15:16:56 UTC
I would like to set up a file to be synchronized between my phone and my desktop, and KDE-connect seems to be the obvious place for this functionality.

Specifically, I would like to setup a shared KeePass database, and keep it synchronized without depending on cloud storage. This is stored as a single file, and generally in a user-selectable location.

Generally my expectation is that my phone will be present whenever I make changes to the database; I am, however, unlikely to make any changes on my phone directly. That said, my phone will travel between my home and my office, and so it may hold the authoritative copy when it connects.

PS. I absolutely /love/ KDE connect. Thank you.

Stefan, in the meantime, have you tried Syncthing? It's what I use to keep files in sync.
