I believe it would be beneficial to implement an optional tray icon, with optional minimise and/or close to tray which would cause Zanshin to appear in the tray only after being minimised and/or closed. This would enhance usability where there is a desire to keep Zanshin running in the background.

Apologies if this is already planned; I searched reviewboard, forums and existing bugs but could not find same.

I would also like to thank all the Zanshin developers and contributors for this product (I'm using v0.4.0, unfortunately that's not available to select in the bugtracker).

Sorry for not replying earlier, it's not something we're planning to add at the moment. I don't think it would apply to something like zanshin and the proliferation of tray icons is mostly frowned upon nowadays. It'll keep just being minimization for now.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll keep it in mind if the workflow would change more, might makes sense then.
