Description Jelena 2016-08-20 19:21:29 UTC
After recovering a file (named .krita-8841-document_0-autosave.kra in my case) Krita doesn't react any longer (i.e. most menu items are greyed out, tools cannot be selected...).

If I choose not to recover this file everything works smooth.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place the attached file in your home directory
2. Start Krita
3. Choose OK in the file recovery dialogue in order to recover the file

Hi Jelena,

I'm afraid that I haven't been able to reproduce the issue. The image itself appears to load fine, though it's completely blank.

I tested it again (even rebooted in between) and I can still reproduce it. The file opens indeed but you e.g. cannot click any tools and have to kill Krita hard in order to get it working again.

Another detail: Are you sure the file is completely blank? There should be a long soft brush stroke in the middle of the canvas.

boud: Feel free to assign this to me at the moment.

It's very reproducible on my side. Others on macOS are also currently experiencing this.

It's pretty annoying, so I'm tracing code in the recovery dialog. That's where things kinda hose up on my side.

My environment:
krita master 3.0.2 beta git (b9c7f56)
ext_qt qt5.7 rebuilt and patched
xcode 8
macOS Sierra
macPro 3,1
