Can you tell me what you're searching so I can try to reproduce? It certainly works on my kubuntu system. please reopen when you can offer such information. I have this same issue on my system I just installed a week ago. I have to close Discover Software Center sometimes to get it to update installed apps and search doesn't show results on any existing searches. I tried Chrome and Firefox for example and no results appear. Any recommendations? Make sure "appstreamcli search firefox" (or whatever you search) bears results. Also note this version is not supported, please update. How do I get the more updated version? I'm new to Linux as I haven't used it in years and decided to remote myself from the typical Windows environment. I tried searching for updates through discover and it doesn't find any updates and to be honest not sure if after the last update when installing if anything else is updated or in need of. My discover also doesn't show any list of available software. I open Software Center but it provides no software list. All categories are empty. I need to fix this somehow.
