Description aearelsp 2016-08-15 02:22:56 UTC
I'll make a mark on the canvas with my tablet or my mouse and I can't see it. The canvas is still blank. However, if I click somewhere outside of the canvas, my mark appears on the screen. I want to be able to see my marks as I make them.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new canvas.
2. Make a mark.
3. Click somewhere outside of the canvas to see the mark that I made.

Expected Results:
I should be able to see what I'm drawing as I'm drawing it. I shouldn't have to click elsewhere after every mark that I make.

Which graphics card+driver do you have? And does turning view->instant preview help?

I have an Intel(R) HD Graphics card. Instant preview was already turned on.

I just installed Krita. This has been an issue since it started running for
me.

Hi aearelsp,

If turning off opengl worked, that means the problem is in the graphic card drivers, Can you please update them and check if this issue still persists in the latest version of Krita.

For now I am going to close this bug report, if you are still facing this issue, please feel free to re-open this bug report

thank you
