Description Tristan Miller 2016-08-14 10:37:13 UTC
When Oxygen 5.18.0 is installed, starting a GTK+ application will result in the following warning message printed to the console:

Gtk-WARNING **: Theme directory of theme oxygen has no size field

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start a GTK+ application (e.g., Thunderbird or SeaMonkey)

Actual Results:
2. "Gtk-WARNING **: Theme directory of theme oxygen has no size field" gets printed to the console

Expected Results:
2. No warning should be printed

Similar to Bug 362041 -- possibly there is something missing in /usr/share/icons/oxygen/index.theme.

Perhaps, but it's odd that the directory *name* here is apparently blank.

... **: Theme directory * * of theme oxygen ...

Is this an icons issue? sound more like a gtk theme issue

Patch to index.theme

In the file /usr/share/icons/oxygen/index.theme there is a Directories property in the [Icon Theme] section. This line includes two commas in a row. One of these commas should be removed.

No longer reproducible for me with Oxygen 5.30.0. Looks like the double comma has been removed in this version (possibly by my distribution).
