Hi, I cannot reproduce this issue (naturally, otherwise nobody would be able to use Krita). It must be specific to your installation. Does this also happen with the latest appimage? (http://files.kde.org/krita/3/linux/devbuilds/krita-3.0.1-Alpha2-d33dbe0-x86_64.appimage) -- if not, I suspect a build error. Does manjaro make it possible to add debug info? Can you also disable opengl and then try again? As it stands, the backtrace does not give us any information.
