Is something that i must do? Updating or something else? Thanks. Also i can't save a new title! (Ubuntu 16.04) Kdenlive don't recognize saved titles Just got the update and "Edit" work fine! Thanks a lot Jean-Baptiste !!! But still have the "save" issue. kdenlive not recognize saved titles (looks like plain text from ubuntu). But i will be patient i know there is a solution. Thanks again! Can you please describe exactly what is the problem when saving titles ? What are you doing, which button / command you use and which error message you see ? Dimitris, are you on Ubuntu or Kubuntu? If on Ubuntu, did you install the KF5 plasma shell packages? I'm in Ubuntu 16.06 after upgrading from 14.04 The saving steps: I make the title, press the upper left button "Save As", on window choose folder, i give title name (always as .kdenlivetitle) and then "save" as i use to do on previous edition of kdenlive (9.0) When trying to reopen the title nothing appears in selected folder I will search about KF5 plasma No i use GNOME You'll need to install some KF5 Plasma and frameworks packges; as I'm using Kubuntu I unfortunately don't remember which packages need to be installed so that the file dialogs work correctly; this is somehow related to media types. Please search the Kdenlive forum for help, there are several threads about installing Kdenlive on Ubuntu. In Archlinux I had to install kded kfilemetadata knewstuff knotifyconfig plasma-desktop (optional) - for theme configuration The solution for these kind of issues is to have a guideline so that the packagers of the distros are aware of these issues. This also applies for MLT version. |
