Description voncloft 2016-08-07 00:10:48 UTC
When I add a program to KDE favorites, over time they become out of order alphabetically. I know in kde 4 there was a sort a to z function, however in kde 5 (plasma) there is no option, also I cannot drag or drop, and menu editor does not give the option to edit the favorites tab in the menu.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add random programs to favorite by right clicking icon and select "Add to favorites"
2. Gets added to favorites
3. Goes to bottom of list - no way to organize

Actual Results:
Icons appear in first added first listed

Expected Results:
Option given to sort the icons alphabetically (none exists currently)

Gentoo
KDE 5

I don't know why you filed this against Homerun instead of the things you're talking about, but FWIW both Kicker and Kickoff in Plasma 5 of course support reordering favorites by drag and drop.
