Description bence.csokas 2016-08-05 22:29:52 UTC
If I right click a file/folder and then mouse over the Activities item, Dolphin just closes. Sometimes it even informs me about a SIGSEGV signal occuring and I was able to get a crash report

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Right click file/folder
2. Pull the mouse pointer off of the context menu
3. Mouse over the Activities item

Actual Results:
Dolphin closes, sometimes with an error message

Expected Results:
Stay open

OS: Kubuntu 16.04.1 LTS, fresh (updated ~ a week ago from Ubuntu 14.04.3)

I have a folder simply called videos (local library folder in home directory) and when I mouse over activities it crashes (the activities submenu) and when I go their with the cursor keys it also crashes.

I will attach a backtrace.

The reporting application is quite stupid. It complains of missing debug symbols, but won't offer me packages to install, nor say it is symbols that are missing. When I then install dolphin-dbg and click reload it will still complain about not having symbols and also libQt5Core does not seem to have any debug package for it. So this is all I got.

Crash report + backtrace dolphin 15.12.3 Qt 5.5.1

Don't know if I can reproduce this every restart, but currently with the currently running session it reproduces every time. Performed action is mouse over the activities submenu in the right-click menu of a folder (Videos) in home directory.
