Description a.nico1995 2016-08-04 20:59:16 UTC
Image colors are fine when I'm putting it together in the program, but when I open it outside Krita the colors warp and darken. I've had Krita 3.0 for a while now, but this just started happening recently (around 8/1/2016). I've not had any problems with it before but now it's doing this to all my drawings made after 8/1/2016.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Krita and start drawing.
2. Add any color and save as .png.
3. Open as .png outside the program.

Actual Results:
The exact same thing as before. Colors warped/darkened when I opened it outside Krita.

Expected Results:
It should have saved the intended colors I put on the picture in Krita.

I'm not using any layer/brush effects to make this happen. Just the normal Ink_brush_25

Are you using 16bit perhaps?

Might this be the issue perhaps: https://docs.krita.org/Gamma_and_Linear ?

It seems that I was in the RGB 8-bit channel instead of the 16-bit one for some reason, so switching that fixed the problem. Thank you for the help!!
