Description Panos Kavalagios 2016-07-26 11:14:10 UTC
Konsole falls back to its original dimensions when it is full screen and restored.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Konsole at user's setting 80x51
2. Select middle button to go full screen or double click it's window title. Konsole goes to 177x51.
3. Press the middle button or double click its window title to restore the initial size.

Actual Results:
The Konsole is resized to 80x32.

Expected Results:
The Konsole should have been resized to 80x51.

If you manually resize it to 80x51 and you execute the described scenario, it works fine.

Hi, I'm from the Bugsquad team and we are triaging bugs on Konsole today.
Thanks for reporting the bug.

Application Version: 17.12.3
KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.44.0
Qt Version: 5.9.5

I followed the steps to reproduce you describe and it worked as expected for me.
It still happens on your system?
Comment 3 Panos Kavalagios 2018-10-31 12:00:22 UTC
Yes, the issue is still there:

Konsole Version 18.04.3
KDE Frameworks 5.48.0
KDE Plasma 5.13.5
Qt 5.11.1

tested on Fedora 28. I have also verified the issue on Arch, Ubuntu, and Gentoo KDE.

Thanks for the feedback!

I have to say that I re-tested this and I could confirm the bug.
My bad for the last comment, maybe I followed the steps wrong.

Updated to version = 18.04.3 and status = CONFIRMED.
