Is this issue reproducible all the time? Could you provide information from the link below? https://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Solid/Plasma-nm#My_connection_in_the_applet_shows_wrong_information (In reply to Jan Grulich from comment #2) > Is this issue reproducible all the time? Nothing special.
Note: I've cleaned many log items to prevent tons of access points filling it, you can find that the serial number of dbus log is not continuous. I tested this couple of times but I'm unable to reproduce it. Tested with: - pressing Fn + F8 (in my case to turn off the wifi) - using rfkill - disabling the wifi over DBus Closing as I was unable to reproduce this issue back then. Please reopen this bug if you are still able to reproduce this with Plasma 5.10. Bulk transfer as requested in T17796 |
I turned my laptop's wireless interface down by pressing Fn + F2 ("Wireless Network & Bluetooth"), it worked perfectly: the wireless checkbox was unchecked automatically. But weird things happened when I turn it up again: the SSID list showed and my WLAN (which was set to connnect automatically) was connected automatically, though the checkbox was not change (check) at all. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Make sure the checkbox is 'on' 2. Turn the wireless interface down. 3. Turn the wireless interface up. Actual Results: The wireless interface will be turned up, but the checkbox will be still 'off'. Expected Results: Turn on the checkbox automatically, or keep the interface down.
