Description Daniel Bedrenko 2016-07-24 18:16:13 UTC
When a process is running in Konsole, closing the window brings up a dialog to confirm if window should be closed. The option to make Konsole not ask me again does not apply to the "Close Window" button.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Konsole
2. Run `top`
3. Close Konsole window.
4. Message dialog is shown saying "There is a process running in this window. Do you still want to quit?". Check "Do not ask again". Click "Close Window".
5. Repeat steps 1-3.

Actual Results:
Notice how it didn't remember the option to close the window without a confirmation, i.e. the confirmation dialog is shown again.

Expected Results:
The confirmation dialog should not show anymore. The window should just close killing whatever process was running in the terminal.

This has been happening for at least a year (I always have latest Konsole version).

PS: Thanks for this great terminal :)

This seems to work correctly in version 16.12.2.

Note: I am no maintainer but from the bugsquad.

Hey Daniel,

it seems that this issue is resolved in the newer versions.
At least for me konsole saved the option correctly.

Can you confirm that it works for you also?

System Information:
konsole 17.12.3
kde-plasma-version: 5.12.6
kde-frameworks-version: 5.44.0
qt-version: 5.9.5
