The KMail Handbook is not available when clicking on the KMail=>Help button.
One is told the documentation cannot be found on the computer, and advised to go to <https://docs.kde.org/>.
The Handbook is available on giving the command "khelpcenter" or going to Applications and typing "help".

Exactly the same is true of the Kontact Handbook.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open KMail
2. Click on Help
3. Click on KMail Handbook

Actual Results:
One is told "The requested documentation was not found on your computer.
The documentation may not exist, or it may not have been installed with the application."

Expected Results:
I expected to see the KMail Handbook

This is not a kmail bug: the key X-DocPath is not honored right now.
Maybe src/khelpclient.cpp from kconfigwidgets should be copied here (on src/util/urlhandler.cpp), pity that we can't use KService.

Ubuntu 17.10 kmail2 5.5.3 KDE Frameworks 5.39.0 Qt 5.9.1
Using F1 or Help->KMail Handbook opens the documentation properly

Indeed.
