Description Ian Mitchell 2016-07-18 23:08:25 UTC
I have just installed Kdenlive on my Manjaro build. While kden live has worked in the past, for some reason, I am unable to open or save a project. Which makes the program nearly unusable.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the program in Manjaro 16.06 Xfce.
2. Open or save a project
3. Observe a blank window
or
1. Open in Manjaro 16.06 Xfce
2. Save a program
3. Observe a blank window

Actual Results:
The window is blank, and I am unable to open a file.

Expected Results:

Ian, not being able to load or save projects is a grave issue. However, this appears to me to be a downstream distro and packaging issue. Using recent git master I cannot reproduce, but then I'm on Kubuntu 16.04. Thus, I would like you to search/ask the Kdenlive and Manjaro forums for help, and maybe file a bug report with your Manjaro packaging of Kdenlive. I would thus also ask you to be so kind as to close this bug report, unless you have good reason as to this being a genuine Kdenlive bug and not a packaging issue. Thank you very much for your cooperation!

I'm having the same issue on kdenlive distributed with Fedora 24 - kdenlive-16.04.3-1.fc24.x86_64

I've found that the issue occurs when the main kdenlive window is maximised. When the window is minimised, the save/open dialog is not blank.
