Description Kanwar Plaha 2016-07-18 23:08:09 UTC
The default weather widget has to be reconfigured with my city name every time the computer is restarted.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Drag weather widget to desktop or a panel
2. Configure widget to show weather for a city
3. Reboot or login/logout
4. City name/settings in the weather widget are lost

Expected Results:
The widget/plasmoid should retain city settings once configured.

I haven't marked it Minor because it is something a weather plasmoid is meant to do. That is its only function. So, I've marked it as a normal bug.

I can confirm this on Arch linux when the widget is placed in panel.

Thanks for reporting. Only saw this bug report yesterday, while before replying to a younger bug report about the same issue, where I added some more info and questions already.
To avoid duplicating info, I will close this report as duplicate of that other, please follow on in that other bug report. Please give also your answers to the questions I asked there, so I can learn more about the exact problem you are having.
