Digikam is set in French. All menus are in French, excepted the main menu bar (see screen capture).

Reproducible: Always



Expected Results:  
The menu bar should be in French too

How do you installed digiKam exactly ?
Do you compiled source code with translation files ? There is a cmake option for that...

I installed Digikam from Philips ppa, did not compile anything.

I recompiled digiKam with French translations. Main menu and some entries in menu still in English, other one are translated.

Sound like the French translations are not complete. That all.

Same thing happens in Spanish, so I don't think this is specific to French
