Description Gery 2016-07-14 13:45:29 UTC
Since updating to Plasma 5.7.0, some apps are missing their tray icon in the systemtray. Instead they show the grey standard icon from the breeze icon set.
Affected apps I have found are: All electron based app (e.g. the new Skype Alpha [1]), but also applications like the kaccessible tray icon.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start the affected app.
2. Look at the task bar.

Actual Results:
Tray icon is replaced by grey standard icon.

Expected Results:
Show the normal application icon like in 5.6.x.
