As shown in the screenshot attached, I can't find - for example - the shortcut of "Comment" -- which is usually Ctrl+D.....!
Which Qt widget style are you using? If unsure, please ask in a forum of your distribution. To get the default Qt widget style, which should also display keyboard shortcuts, please run "kile -style Fusion" from Konsole. For the Qt4-based version, please try "kile -style Plastique", the Fusion style is only available with Qt5. Upon invoking, "kile -style Plastique" - I am gettting the same view as before, I am unable to see the shortcuts as usual....! : ( -- Ok, I think I see what is going on. The Unity desktop hijacks the application's menu bar and replaces it with some "global appmenu". I have no idea which packages need to be installed (or uninstalled) to fix this broken appmenu.
