Description Buck Shockley 2016-07-10 02:32:06 UTC
When right-clicking on an entry in the task manager, the contextual menu will appear one item to the left of the item that was clicked on. When clicking the left-most item, the menu will appear on the monitor to the left in a dual-monitor setup. In the icon-only variant of the task manager, all menus will appear on the left monitor unless several windows are opened.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open at least two windows.
2. Right click on one in the task manager.

Actual Results:
The application menu will appear to the left of its spot on the task manager.

Expected Results:
The application menu should open directly above its entry in the task manager.

Do you have the latest version of KF5? There were fixes to menu positoning.

It would seem not, but the bug did not occur until updating to Plasma 5.7.

Just got the update to KF5 from the Arch repos. The problem no longer occurs, but a new bug has arrived, which I will make a separate report for.
