Sentry Crash Report:

Description KDE Neon user 2016-07-08 06:33:45 UTC
File type association changes aren't applied.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Try to change the default application to opening a file through the System Settings or the "Open as..." context menu on Dolphin
2. Apply the changes
3. Double-click on a file of that type

Actual Results:
The file opens with the same application as before. The changes haven't been applied.

Expected Results:
It should open with your custom entry.

I believe that this happened because it didn't ask me to enter my password. Changing the file association by opening the system settings as root worked as expected.
