If you have more than one wallet managed by kwalletmanager, there is a panel that appears on the left side of the main window.  On plasma4, the wallet names are shown under an icon of the wallet indicating whether it is open or closed.

Since upgrading to plasma5, the individual wallets' icons are missing. I'm sure most people would never know this since when managing only one wallet, this panel isn't shown.
