Which map mode ? Google, OSM, Marble ? Gilles Caulier (Assuming the same problem I have...) Google. OSM works, Marble cannot zoom enough to be useful. Overall, Google's labels and satellite photos make the difference for checking position for me. Also, likely separate but I'm lazy: OSM zooms back out to view the entire planet. Not useful when placing temporally related photos. Or ever. Same Problem for me on Digikam V5.1.0 on linux. Same problem here. The bug was also present in 5.0. When trying to drag one or multiple pictures to the map, a red "stop"-sign appears besides the mouse cursor and it wont let me drop the pictures on the map. Happens both when using Google Maps or Marble. Git commit f9523ed3d970927defd9d3dae7ced22ba52d4e1f by Maik Qualmann. Committed on 14/08/2016 at 08:17.
