Description Toivo Pedaste 2016-07-07 00:47:46 UTC
It's not possible to edit geo location using Geolocation Editor

It's not possible to drag the marker around the map and trying to drag a selected item onto the map has the red stop sign attached to the item to indicate it can be dropped.

Reproducible: Always

Which map mode ? Google, OSM, Marble ?

(Assuming the same problem I have...)

Google. OSM works, Marble cannot zoom enough to be useful.

Overall, Google's labels and satellite photos make the difference for checking position for me.

Also, likely separate but I'm lazy: OSM zooms back out to view the entire planet. Not useful when placing temporally related photos. Or ever.

Same Problem for me on Digikam V5.1.0 on linux.

Same problem here. The bug was also present in 5.0.
When trying to drag one or multiple pictures to the map, a red "stop"-sign appears besides the mouse cursor and it wont let me drop the pictures on the map.

Happens both when using Google Maps or Marble.

This is a duplicate of #360462, isn't it?
