Description Fred Jackson 2016-07-06 17:04:41 UTC
I updated my kmail version today and the folder list went south. I recieved a dialog once that read "Maldir resource broken" nothing I have done so far has accomplished anything except cause a segfault. when I attempt to edit the Maildir account, nothing happens. Add account produces error messages like:
No such method 'agentName' in interface 'org.freedesktop.Akonadi.AgentManager at opbecjt path .....

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. upgrade kmail to this version
2. kill all hung kmail processes and restart

Actual Results:
folder list gone, maildir account will not launch edit dialog

Same for me
Comment 3 Fred Jackson 2016-07-07 13:42:34 UTC
dialog for managing accounts is unusable. Unable to even attempt to rebuild kmail because I cannot add a 'Local Folders' resource, in fact I am unable to add accounts at all.

It's an upgrade from what ?
build from hand ?
If it's package ask to your distro.
4.4.10 is very very old and stable so if a upgrade broke it it's a problem from distro no us
