The title says it all:
Selection, Razor, Spacer tool icons missing from lower right
There are 8 other icons and a slider bar in the lower right, but these 3 are missing

Were they removed, or am I missing the icons, or something else?
The keys S X M work as expected but I gravitate to the icons


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Compile from source
2. run Kdenlive
3. no icons for Selection, Razor, Spacer tools in lower right

Actual Results:  
no icons

Expected Results:  
icons

Kdenlive compiled from 2016-05-17 did have the icons

Cool! That worked. Thanks for the link.
I had to follow the note that read:

Note: in case the timeline toolbar isn't correctly shown after updating Kdenlinve, you may need to move your existing kdenliveui.rc file out of the way. Don't delete it, just rename it to, say, kdenliveui.rc.old. On standard KF5 installations, this file should be found in $HOME/.local/share/kxmlgui5/kdenlive. Afterwards restart Kdenlive and you should now see the timeline toolbar. If everything works, you may finally delete the old kdenliveui.rc.old file.

I'll close the bug but it isn't really INVALID. Technically you are right, but operationally I had to go out of process to resolve it. Others may find themselves in the same situation and as such find this post useful.

Glad I could help. As for the INVALID or not, that's fine with me; personally, INVALID doesn't mean that the report is invalid, but just that it's not a bug. But you are raising a valid point that INVALID may keep people from checking these reports for help.
