Description Denis Moon 2016-07-05 19:46:46 UTC
After upgrading to plasma 5.7 with kde neon user edition 5.7 I lost my Task Manager completely. The only thing I can see on my panel is an icon. If I press, I get:

Error loading QML file: file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.taskmanager/contents/ui/main.qml:26:1: module "org.kde.taskmanager" is not installed

Reproducible: Always

You don't seem to have a matching version of plasma-workspace installed, which includes libtaskmanager, which installs the org.kde.taskmanager Qt Quick plugin.

This is a packaging issue. Reassigning to Neon.

Thanks a lot! I've just solved the problem by "sudo apt install --reinstall plasma-workspace".
Previously I got the line saying "The following packages have been kept back:
  plasma-workspace". Sorry for disturbing! I'm a KDE-noob:)

you always should do dist-upgrades or use plasma discover.
