I can't compile kdenlive at the moment. 
It says it detects version 0.9.9 of, mlt. However, the output of melt --version outputs 6.3.0

Added in a screenshot of the compile error. 

I have only one version of mlt installed, and all files installed are tracked by Arch's package manager.
