The application loads, asks to load a new file from template or open existing. In either case, no canvas appears, viewport is black and blank, and when mousing the cursor into the viewport it too becomes invisible.

Reproducible: Always


Actual Results:  
This happens on boot up

Expected Results:  
The viewport is black and blank, and the mouse gets lost in it.

Loaded a white canvas and allowed the cursor to be seen

Please upgrade to 3.0 or uprade your intel graphics drivers. This is a bug in the intel graphics drivers and 3.0 has a workaround.

If you're using Krita on Steam, you can activate Krita 3.0 through the beta channel in the properties dialog in the software library.
