And there actually is an issue when auto-mounting discs: Ejecting with the hardware button instead of the plasma applet the next inserted DVD can't be played. I have to eject it again with the plasma applet, close the drive - then I can play the DVD. The other thing that constantly bugs my dad is the file dialog re-spinning the disc (as already described), which allows to open several file dialogs (which really happens every day). Thank you for reporting this bug in KDE software. As it has been a while since this issue was reported, can we please ask you to see if you can reproduce the issue with a recent software version?
