I've been noticing recently that SVG icons are no longer displayed in the Application Dashboard.

As an example, download and install 'pCloud', preferably via Arch Linux' AUR repository: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/pcloud/

You'll notice that, instead of the proper pCloud icon, the default (blank page) icon is shown in the Application Dashboard.
